M name is Nev Fernandez and I am a New England based Photographer & Videographer specializing in commercial and street photography.

Each image I make becomes a portal into a new world with vibrant colors and textures - creating imagery that is a mixture of calm, playful, humorous, and appealing.

I love the capturing candid moments of objects and spaces like they are live models, moving myself and the camera to capture the personality and create almost sentient behavior within the frame.

When choosing photos, I am attracted to the cinematic feel that captures the inanimate objects as a “looming presence” and makes them feel like a character in a film.

Whether it be worn-down features of objects from natural weathering, torn apart building siding for reconstruction, a fascinating interplay of old and new paint co-existing and meeting at the corner of a building, or piles of used objects left out on the side of the road - these in-between moments of everyday life is captured in ways that give a narrative and character to overlooked subjects.

I allow myself to be pulled in all different directions with no specific goal other than to allow myself to feel the experience of the in-between moments.
